Yep, made me smile too! I like pottering, just hope we can get the plots to a level where we can just go and potter! At the moment there's far too much still to be done before we reach that stage! lol!Blessings

I have to potter, can't manage a structured day of hard work or I end up poorly for ages. In the long run I achieve far more by 'pootling about' as I term it.Happy Gardening,

like to come in from work,and go into the garden and survey the splendor of my veg ,i regularly "potter" up and down the garden, its like in my genes so to speak xjoanne geldardComment

For me 'pottering' is a civilised stressfree way of getting lots of jobs done. It's like a marathon in short stages, I get there in the end but when time and bad back allow.

Thanks for that Claire, I loved it and can absolutely identify with the pottering day. Sometimes I just go out into the garden and wander about aimlesly and just look at and "love" my plants. sometimes I even get something done
