  • Been hedgecutting

Decided as I had bought some hedge shears from tesco (bargain at £2.40) I would trim the hedge around my veg garden, made a good start, then spotted a ladybird on the hedge, and went no further!
OH says I am mad to cut it by hand, and should use electric hedge trimmers, but as I don't have any, thought it was better to do the job now, than wait forever for the electric ones.
What do you think? (and would you have stopped for a ladybird too?)

ladybirds will get out of the way. Best to trim your hedge now before it gets out of hand.
