  • My salad bar

Just thought I'd show you my "Salad Bar".

This is my old walk-in market stall, that I decided would become an extension to my fruit cage.

Used slats from pallets on the counter tops, then used gravel boards for the sides, rather an airel bed rather just a raised bed as it were.

I have used water tube hoops with roll back fleece the protect the seedlings and at the end of the week I'm going to change the fleece for netting to keep the butterflies off my salad crops.

I didn't want to waste the stall shelves I had either so at present I've just used growbags for some strawberries. Eventually I'll put boarders around each shelf, like I've done on my salad bar. Altogether rather posh growbags, as I've been told by other plot holders.

Forgot to say that I put copper tape around all the uprights to (hopefully) stop slugs and snails
