  • Help! Lark Rise to Candleford.

Been bunged up with a nasty virus for a few days, so the wife and I thought we'd catch up on a few Sky+ recordings.

Unfortunately, for reasons I have yet to fathom, the damned thing failed to record the last episode of Lark Rise, despite coping with all the others!!!!

Since it no longer seems to be on BBCiplayer, I don't suppose anyone has it recorded and could stick it on a DVD to post to me, all costs covered????

    We'd be very grateful.

Oh poor you. If no one can copy it for you, you may be able to hire it from the video shop as it's been released for hire.

      Thanks for the heads-up, Tracey.

I don't suppose you know if it's due for an on-air repeat or sale release anytime soon?

          The Doctor.....
OK. Miss Layne (her only weakness) goes to get a noo frock from The Ugly Sisters Shop. THEN, The Poacher, he did do a terrible thing...... then he got forgive for that terrible thing in the end, the small boy didn't die, the posh couple did go back up t'smoke again, and Miss Layne (her only weakness) didn't get t 'serve jelly to that lovely o'd bat because she died on her birfday in the chair on the patio....

Have I spoilt it?! It was SUCH a good prog, and no, I can't help you (it's my only weakness?)
Personally, I wish to see every episode time and time again, till Trousers smacks me over the head with it......

Please, Please, Please - when it is next my birthday (October 26th) could some kind person give me every minute of that on DVD (tis my only weakness?!) as my birthday present, and I shall love you forever?X

              LOL, thanks, Wellie.

Some of that wasn't the last episode though, because we saw it!!

(Didn't know the old biddy died, however!) And I saw the trailer the week before, so why was the stonemason sacked by the squire???

Did the post office get sold after all?????

I have had an offer of a copy (Many thanks, again) though my wife may be able to source it from someone at her work. If not, I'll be back!

Ah, you see, the stonemason wouldn't grass on who the poacher be Doctor, and The Squire weren't having none of it, which did p*ss young Laura off no end that she dumped the boyfriend.

I won't spoil the ending for you tho!
                Enjoy...
