  • Thunder - Thunder - Thunder - Thundercats!

    Hey,
I've just noticed that there is a member online called Mumrah! I'm guessing that has to be a childhood reference to the wonder that was Thundercats? Hello and welcome, oh evil one! How cool was that show?!

I have very fond memories of laughing at my little brother who had to run and get his plastic sword and figurines before he could sit down to watch it. Unfortunately, however, I also remember my poor Barbies having to always marry a certain muscle-bound, blue, bald-headed young man and drive off in a tank after the ceremony....... Oh those were the days, and who said romance is dead!!

hehehe, sister and i used to make dolls houses out of a cartboard box,cut out doors and windows, folded back so it kooked like shutters, the box flaps were used to make room devider, furniture, bits of fabric of cuts for curtains ext, even the little dolls we made by using knitting wool,so simple but we loved it,whip and top, yoyos that worked, snobs, marbles, not forgetting our family cycle rides,at 1 time paddling in the brook watching the tiny fish, and makeing dens, all simple things kept us happy, kids today miss out,so do parents in their wallets for todays things,we never had a telly for a long time

No video, iplayer or sky in those days. I had to have a day off school to see these.
Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.
