    strawberrys??

    hi

    I went shopping in tescos today and they had boxes of strawberrys reduced to 39p!!!!!!
    Anyway i brought 9 boxes and need to know what i should make with them??
    Thinking about jam, but need your advice.
    New to this gardening lark... fingers slowly turning green!

    I'd go for jam, but be quick - they'll soon be well past their best.

      If they were reduced for being over-ripe, I'd go for wine rather than jam. Jam works better with less-ripe strawberries, wine works better with very ripe ones!
      Flowers come in too many colours to see the world in black-and-white.
