    Simple question.........

    I've pulled some fresh carrots, a selection of red and green chillies and some shallots.
    I intend pickling these together (which I've done in the past to good effect) but wondered................is it feasible to add some home grown sun dried tomatoes to the mix?

    dont see why not, you can pickle anything really.

      As long as they are dry (have no oil on them) then they should be fine.

        Cool...........there's no oil on them and I will cut them up into small pieces!

        (Wonders whether they will swell up in the vinegar and sugar mix?)
