  • Jamie O's cheeky chilli chutney

Anybody had a go at this? Is it worth peeling all those chillies?

Where did you get the recipe? Is there a link? I've never ever peeled a chilli in my life and I use loads of them.

small blue plant you have to grill the chillies first then when they are charred you peel them. Not that ive tried it yet waiting for this years chilli's to turn red!!!

Possibly I would grill sweet peppers, but never chillies. I'm going to have a look at the link and then make up my mind.

I don't use his recipe but the one I do use for tomato and chilli chutney also calls for them to be peeled. Can't be bothered so they go in with skins and it's fine - life is too short for peeling chillies, especially as I'd end up scratching my eye knowing me!

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

Skins and all? That sounds like less of a faff. Might give it a go this week.
