  • Eating ramson stems?

We love ramsons here, and tonight I put the leaves and bulbs in a cauliflower and spinach cheese, and put the flowers on sliced tomato. I was wondering if the stems are particularly tasty? So far I've not bothered using them, but is there any reason no to?
Is there anything that isn't made better by half an hour pottering in the veg patch?

I cut stems up and use them in salads like you would spring onions.
    Location....East Midlands.

What Bren says plus sliced leaves also go well in green salads

Lovely, I'll make use of the whole beast then. I love the leaves in salads, and wrapped round bits of cheese, mmm. I'll be grabbing vast handfuls tomorrow when I drop in to check on my parents place.
