  • Dandelion syrup

I fancy making this as I've heard it's good with pancakes and waffles (and I'm too tight to pay £5 for a bottle of maple syrup!), but the recipes I can find seem to want me to measure the liquid in grams (to calculate the amount of sugar I need).

Doesn't seem right to me - can anyone help please?

    Thanks

Here is a recipe that specifies number of dandelion heads -250 - and uses cups of water rather than weight. Hope that helps.

it's a bit like mild honey, hardly surprising when that's what the bees do with the pollen of course (!!) or a bit like maple syrup (kind of!) - a fraction of the cost and my kids are gonna love it on their pancakes.....oh yes they are!!!
