| According to the film, you can fry them - but can't you also make green tomato chutney?

| Have to say EB - your recipe is my favourite again this year - didn't wait for my toms to ripen, got stuck in big style with your recipe - lots of super tasting green tomato chutney for me, family and friends again this year! (hopefully won't run out this time!) Bernie

| I made this the other day, not sure what the other recipe is as I am rather new to the forum but this chutney is really nice ![]() http://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/2...to-chutney.jsp |

| As mentioned by terrier you should be able to ripen them - I've had a few green toms which have broken free of the plant in a bid for escape! Wrap them gently in newspaper, pop in a drawer and within a few days they should be ripe |
