Default Labelling jams and preserves

I don't know how many of my fellow grapes make jams and preserves with the intention of selling them as I do, but for those who do, there are some regulations about what you must include on the label.
1. Ingredients - these should be listed from greatest to smallest. Water should be included. In the case of jams, the weight of fruit either per jar or per 100g of finished product should be shown, eg "contains min 50g fruit per 100g"
2. A best before date is required - this is usually taken as a year from the date you make the preserve - I know some last a lot longer, but it's easier to play it safe!
3. A batch number is required - in my case I just use a three figure digit followed by the year, eg 012/08, 013/08 etc.
If that's not enough to put you off, then apparently in 2010, the FSA intend to force even small producers like myself to include nutritional information on labels.
Makes you wonder if they are trying to undermine the WI !!
