I recently acquired a complete beer making set. At the moment I do want to make the beer but want to use the apples from the garden. Hopefully I want to produce a roughly 6% slightly carbonated brew. I picked 2lb apples today (I have more) and that produced about 1 1/2pints juice from my juicer. I intend to add some Morrisons grapejuice for depth. Does anyonw have a tried and tested recipe for cider that produces a good all round party drink.

I have never heard of making cider with grape juice, think what you will end up with is apple wine -

Could be that it results in an apple wine Janyeo bu I wanted to give the brew it bit more depth. So would it be better without the grape?
