Any one have any designs for a grape press that I could make. I have about 20 ltrs of grapes so I need to keep wastage to the minimum.
Bought an AWThomson juicer but the small print says unsuitable for grapes as it tears the pips, releasing too many of the tannins. ![]() Last edited by Brewer-again : 10-01-2008 at 08:47 PM. Reason: stupidity |

Well, traditionally it was done with the feet, wasn't it? Tho' I suspect that that is not terribly helpful.

This would be perfectly adequate for pressing grapes, and you'll be sorted for pressing apples in the Autumn.
