| Hi I am new to forums also to growing my own veg. I live in South West France and have started a vegetable patch. I planted potatoes called Manon late april, they are a good 3ft tall ,but so far no flowers . Is this normal, perhaps I am being impatient but I have noticed that other peoples potatoes have flowered. |

| Hi Sonia and welcome This is my first year of growing potatoes so don't know enough to give you any advice. I understand that not all potatoes have flowers, certainly mine haven't which I planted in March, but when I rooted round beneath the soil have come up with some potatoes. If you do a search under 'potatoes' on the site I am sure there is a list of those which do flower. Failing that, no doubt someone else will come along shortly to impart their knowledge and wisdom to advise you. |
