    Hi all

My name is Paul, I am a 3rd year grower this year, last year I moved house so I have a large enough garden for my own plot.

I only managed to grow a few bits last year as I was doing alot of work clearing an area of grass for my plot, and building my rabbit proof fencing (I get about 10 a day visiting!)

I have added a couple of pics of progress so far, I will try and use all my beds this year as well as making my DIY polytunnel.

I look forward to learning a lot and having a good chat.

Hello Paul your garden looks lovely. My parents have rabbits in their garden too, they ruin a lot of their plants. I hope they're no trouble to you. How deep underground is your rabbit proof fencing? My dads talking about doing it around his boundary & going down about 4ft? He has tunnels under the fence from the farmland behind & keeps filling them & then they come back again. I like seeing the rabbits when I go round there though,a moorhen chased one away once, you don't see things like that in my garden.

Thankyou all for the warm welcome, I really didn't expect that!

So may questions, Ill try and answer them all.

I am from Preston, I used to live in Sheffield in Broomhill, where abouts are you?

My garden is 175ft and backs onto fields hence the rabbit problems.

The rabbit netting is buried 12" down and 12" away in an L shape, and its not been breached to date so I think I should be ok.

I do have a little helper, who spends many an hour with me, it makes my day
