  • New here and keen on worm composting and growing tasty food

    Hello,

I really enjoyed looking around in this forum and see there are a lot of keen gardeners
busy here, sharing great tips and advise.

I am passionate about worm composting and am combining it with my love for food gardening. I have written quite a few articles about the subject but are always keen to learn more from other gardening enthusiasts.

I hope to learn and share a lot here and wish everyone great success!

    Kind regards

    Stephan

Hello Stephan I hope you enjoy the vine, it really brightens the day to read through it, and a lot of knowledge is freely available (I think that part is great)

Hi Stephan, likewise. I have been using a 'Hungry Bin' for my worm composting. Looks neat and does the job of using up waste kitchen scraps and food. I did build one a few years ago, but did not look as good as the Hungry Bin. So that along with two composters I'm not doing too badly for compost!

I suppose this sounds stupid, but where do you get the worms from? I was given a wormery but I have only used it for comfrey tea
