G'day,

Welcome to the Grapevine, there is a wealth of information on the forums!

Composting is really easy. All you need is a mixture of even amounts of green and brown materials. See here for more info. Oh, and the most important part is to keep turning the material over with a pitchfork, it makes for more even composting.

We already had a compost heap inside 4 old pallets when we moved into this house, it was fab, the bottom half was all fully rotted and ready straight for the garden!
We bought an extra compost bin from a link on our local council's website, it was about half the price of one from a garden centre or DIY store so see if your council sells them at a discount!

Cheers

Ness
