Hi and welcome to the vine Paul. How big a bucket and how many spuds did you plant in it?

Hi, wlecome. It depends on the size of your tub and the number of spuds you've got in there. Once you've got compost up to the top you could bang in a few nasturtiums (seeds or plants) which will give a bit of colour to things. Anything else you put in there will get disturbed by the harvesting process.

Hi PaulK, a friendly welcome to the 'vine'. You'll soon get the hang of this growing thing. Just remember the green bits should go up and the brown bits should go down . When the spuds start to show green bits above the soil, make sure they don't get hit by frost, or else it will really slow the growth process down.
