  • Intro of a 'sort of' educated novice!

    Hello all,

When younger I studied horticulture at colleague, but then promptly forgot all I learnt and moved into another industry. Now in my 30's I am back to the soil, working in a market garden and having been an allotment holder for the past year.

I am totally lacking in experience, but willing to learn, so that is why I have joined the forum.

For the past year I have already got much benefit from what you have here, reading posts from members which have had similar queries to myself, but I thought it time to join as I am just going to go from half a plot to a full plot at the allotment and know that I am going to have tons of random questions.

    Cheers,

    Late

Hi LB welcome to the vine.
As one newbie to another I can not see any reason why you wouldn't be glad to be here. Peeps are really friendly and as for knowledge and personal experience.... well, you have all that to find out for yourself!

    Have fun and enjoy

It turns out that I took on my new allotment yesterday just after my first post!
