    Hi everyone!

    Hi everyone,

    Just got a new allotment a month ago. Strimmed, raked, strimmed, raked, beds marked out and 3 out of 6 dug over and covered with black plastic. Looking forward to starting planting. Just got my first GYO magazine today and found this forum.

    I have minimal growing knowledge. We changed our garden from decking heaven (hell!) when we moved here 2 years ago and I'm mainly growing exotics, with a small food growing area and greenhouse, but decided I needed more space for food, so got the allotment. I used to love helping my dad in the garden when I was little and I'm really enjoying it again now.
