  • Hi from Canvey Island

    Hi People
Just got an allotment, looks like I've got a bit of work to do. And a lot of reading, not grown any veg in my life, just a few herbs in the garden. And now I got the ground it feels a bit frightening, but will give it a good go. Slowly

Thanks for the welcome. Only seen the plot once last week, been working since but will be over on my piece of 'land' on Wednesday to have a good look what's weeds and if there is anything worth keeping. It's not quite as over run as some plots I've seen on here, but still a lot to do, just a plain bit of ground so a shed and some planning out needs to be first on the list. Will I be too late to start sowing anything by the time I've sorted this out? Maybe by end of April should have some dug over and prepared.

Hello and welcome to the vine Trigger

There's plenty of time to sow things I've not started my runner beans, cucumbers or courgettes yet.
