Default Hi to all

Well my name is Andy, and I have become a gardener.
Despite seeing what this dreadful affliction can do to families. (My father is also a gardener)
I lived in a flat for many years, desperate to resist the temptation to just grow a wee pot of potatoes. or just needing the thrill from that one extra tomato plant.
Eventually, the urge to grow my own fruit and veg became too much, and despite counselling, we bought a house with plenty of space for planting the stuff.
So I stand amongst you today, asking for forgiveness and your kind advice.

well at the moment, I have around 50ish potato plants.
Ten strawberry plants in tubs, eleven tomatoes of various types (also in tubs). Two blackcurrant bushes in tubs, eleven cabbage, twelve cut and come again lettuce, a few beetroots, a few leeks, some spring onions, loads of carrots, all in the raised beds, and some spinach growing in a trough.
I also have some mushrooms, herbs and a grape vine in the house.
Had a few potatoes so far (other than the mushrooms and herbs), but the potato plant was pulled out as I was concerned about potato blight. Tasted delicious although they were rather small
