  • Hello :)

    Hi all,

Just thought I'd sign up and say "Hi!"

We have a long garden at home, which has been left with occasional strimming when the grass gets too high, with no maintenance for the last 20 years. So this year my Dad and I have decided to get the place sorted out, and get some veg growing!

Over the winter we dug up some of the grass, and have put a couple of ground level beds in, and on the other side, have put some raised beds in. The whole thing looks a bit of a mess at the moment, but we're working our way down the garden, and using the space we've created so far. At the moment we've got:
    • First Early Potatoes
    • Onions (from sets, red and white)
    • Radishes (from seed)
    • Carrots (from seed)

planted, but this first year really is a 'try it and see' year. We'll focus more next year on what works well in our garden. Anyway, here is a picture of the 'plot' as it stands this afternoon!

Hello and welcome to the wonderful Vine.

Looking good so far but be prepared for a few things that just don't work and some stuff that is amazing! My plot is in year 5 in transformation for a field and still looks a right mess.

    Happy growing.

That was the first thought that entered my head too, double L, must be welsh. Are we the only nation that has more than 1 letter as a single consonant, like Ll or ng or ch, we have others but I don't like to brag....

Welcome Llaminator, are you an exile per chance?
