  • Hello

My Name is Dave, I have recently build a new house for my family of 6, the garden is a mixture of old fruit trees new grass, a new feature pond that was badly designed and not much else and I really do not know where to start.

I want to be involved as much as possible with the garden but have little experience so I am here to try and gain some assistance and knowledge for the future.

Hello Dave and welcome to the Grapevine.
Pull up a chair and have a wander through some of the threads here - maybe they will give you some ideas about what you would like to have in your garden. Once you know, we're always ready to try to help you

Hello and welcome from me too. We built a house as well, and are very, very slowly turning a field into a garden.

Hello and welcome from further afield

Should be fun being able to make your own choices and start from scratch. Having some established trees is a great start imo.

Def go through some threads and see what appeals to you first. Then map out what you've already got.
After that you can start looking at what will fit where. And don't forget, if some of the 6 are kids then you'll want some play areas.
