  • Hello from the Yorkshire Dales

Hi there, folks, I've just joined up to your very interesting site.
I'm not exactly a beginner gardener but I just have a small garden and have started trying to grow veggies in pots so will no doubt need some tips at times. My name is Diane, not Gertrude but feel free to call me Gert and leave off the rude part.

Gert (rude)! My Granny was gertrude and my mum and her siblings used to use that phrase. Later they called her 'Trudi".

Thanks - but that was last summer when the turf had just been laid. Not quite so pristine now.
