I have about 10 pots and have just managed to get fruit from about 4 pots..What am i doing wrong guys..Any ideas?

Welcome to the vine Strawberry Patch - you now have a name to live up to!

As to the cause of your plants dying - did they dry out too much?
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Hi Jeanied,I don't think they dried out too much...I have always had a problem growing strawberry's..Maybe i should try growing them in the ground instead of in pots..

                  Welcome, Strawb!

As above I wondered about irregular watering - little and often until they start to flower and then more water and a potash feed is how I would do it... but since my dog ate all mine in pots this year I can't claim to be that successful either!!!
The proof of the growing is in the eating.
                  Leave Rotten Fruit.
                  Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potasium - potash.
                  Autant de têtes, autant d'avis!!!!!
Il n'est si méchant pot qui ne trouve son couvercle.
