  • Hello to everyone

    Hi All,

Happy newyear and new gardening year 2015. this thread is to introduce me. me , my husband have been living in Cambridge from the last 2 years and we got our own house now with a small garden.

We are granted an allotment as well few months ago. it is overgrown, but able to work for couple of days and cleared little of it and then decided with no dig gardening. no idea how the abundance of couch grass fight with my process.

wanted to do lot of things before ground freeze but with a one year toddler and full time working , I could do only few things. still to spread the mushroom compost, horse menure which i have ordered and got delivered from online.

First thing todo is spread 4 kg of earlie potatos and cover with mush room compost for 3 months and get the first crop.

In short I see my self a gorilla gardener at the moment.

Hello Elfeda & Hubby. Welcome to the jungle..........Don't buy Horse Manure - Check out your local stables & you'll most likely get it for nothing.............Good to see you like Gorillas...............

Welcome to the vine Elfeda. Good luck with your lottie. Take lots of photos. Before and after, then you can really see all the hard work you've done. And post lots of photos. We like photos
