  • Hello everyone

Hi all, currently in my 2nd year at my allotment, having good success with most things (and failures as we'll!)

Funny thing is I don't remember ever putting my name down on a waiting list for an allotment ( I must have tho'!) but got an email one day inviting me down to view a plot (actually a rubbish tip filled with bricks, broken glass, paving flags etc etc!!!)

I nearly fainted at shock at the prospect of turning it round, but the committee were very understanding, allowing me the first year to clear the rubbish, build a shed, create beds etc.

I'm now two years in and I've learned loads... And hopefully will learn loads more here!!!
    Thanks

          Hello Scroogemonster and welcome.
Could you do us a favour and add your location to your profile please. Local weather conditions vary so much throughout the country - especially frost dates
