  • Hello from the Duchy

    Hello to everyone

I am on the south coast of Cornwall, enjoy living here having worked all over the UK with my previous job

Been edible gardening for around 3 years and had my allotment for around 18 months. Soil is clay based and on a gentle South facing slope. Slightly exposed to the wind but this is a small price to pay for living half a mile from the coast

My allotment measures about 14m x 9m in total. Have a few fruit trees, some perennial veg and the rest of my space is currently being converted to raised beds for annual veg and herbs

I garden as organically as possible and eat like Henry 8th!

Looking forward to borrowing some wisdom

    James

Hi, Jim, welcome to the vine. If you put Cornwall in your profile, it will appear on the top of your posts, and we won't have to keep asking you to remind us where you live. Some of us have the memory retention of a goldfish
