  • Hello all from Chingford!

    Hi All,

New to gardening! But did manage to grow some fantastic tomatoes and strawberries last year which have given me a taste for growing more!!

Looking forward to speaking to like minded people as most of my friends think I'm crazy and getting old (only 34) because I would rather be in my garden than out drinking in the pub! But nothing beats being in the great outdoors eating what you have actually grown yourself.

This year I started early from seed and have tomates, cucumbers, peppers and courgettes and strawberries all ready to go out, hopefully the frost will keep away!

Look forward to chatting with you all!

    Honeybee :-)

Hello Honeybee and welcome to the Grapevine.
Tomatoes and strawberries always taste so much better when they're homegrown - picked fresh and eaten within minutes. My mouth is watering ( not dribbling!!) at the thought
