  • Greetings!

    Hi all,

I got my half-plot about a month ago and have just found this forum. I'm totally new to allotmenting so suspect I'll be on here an awful lot, apologies in advance for daft questions!

Hello Bumpkin welcome to the forum! Do ask as many questions as you wish, there's usually someone here who knows the answer!

Could you add your location to your profile please - it really helps us to understand what your local conditions are

Welcome to the Vine. A great time to start an allotment so you'll be up and running when Spring comes around. If you add your location to your profile, it will help members to understand your local conditions when answering questions you may have, daft or otherwise!

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

Location added - I'm in Essex, not far from That London, which means I have London clay to contend with. Great for making pots from I'm sure, bit of a pain to dig through!
