    hi,
I would like to start growing my own veg but have no clue about it.
I bought one of those plastic walk in greenhouses and have just sown some carrots, spring onions and have 4 strawberry plants.
    Any advise please, thankyou.

Hello and welcome to the vine Sil

Its always a good idea to have a look at this thread and see what others are doing, but most of all just grow what you like to eat.

See if you can buy a couple of tomato plants from either the local veg shop or market stall they will do well in your GH.

Your walk in plastic greenhouse - these affectionately known as blowaways.
Make sure it is securely fixed, weighted down, and then add some more fixings or weights.
Many people I know have spent hours sowing seeds and loving placed them in these baby polytunnels. After a stormy night the stucture is at the opposite end of their garden, or allotment, and the seed trays and contents spread somewhere inbetween.
If you manage to keep them where you put them, these are a cheap way of giving plants that extra bit of protection, of you gaining experience, confidence and the pleasure of eating food grown by your own hand. And when things don't go to plan, remember, it will be better next year.
Things never go wrong - they just don't go to your plan.
