  • Mildew problem?? Sad Sage :(

Hello, I had a beautiful healthy Sage plant which i repotted a few months ago. It has since then filled that pot but i can't see roots through the bottom yet. A couple of weeks ago all around the bottom the leaves have got a powdery whitish silver residue on them,,,i presume this is some kind of mildew problem because at the same time the same thing started to appear on a climbing something at the back of the house,,,sage at the front. Since them the climber is covered in it so i cut it off at the root and its nearly dead,,,thought this would lessen the spread of it when i get it off,,,probably tomorrow,,,,,kind of 2 questions lol but does anyone know if this is the same thing? and if so what is the best time/conditions to remove it,,,thanks

ps i have been watering from the bottom and avoiding the leaves since i noticed it

If it is mildew a quick fix is to spray with one part milk diluted with ten parts water.
