  • Manure

Hi just back from living both in France and Spain so gardening a bit different there as in lemons oranges and the like.

Have now taken over two plots on an organic share site and where the 'farmer' has provided of course organic manure. One of the well-versed organic warriors on the site says it is too fresh and cannot be used until say late summer.

Are there any uses please of 'fresh' stuff say at the bottom of a runner bean trench. I must say when it was dumped I have never seen so many flies!

Hot beds. Fresh generates lot of heat.
