Default Lidl herbs

Lidl (in the south) will be selling lavender, rosemary, thyme, sage and something else that I can't remember from Thursday next week.

Ii think the plants are about £1.99 each

I think £1.99 per plant is quite expensive especially when they all grow quite easily from seed!
In my local Tesco's they have same herbs for £1.99, strong plants in 6" pots, but still expensive if you need quite a few.

PS I know you can take cuttings, but I will still be growing from seed!

I agree Snadger that it is expensive if you need a few but many of us only want one or two and then probably different and if they last a number of years quite good value. I grew a lot of thyme and lavender as well as others from seed last year because I like having lots of lovely fresh herbs and things and the garden and bits of the lottie get filled in with this sort of thing. It may also be because I've not had much luck with flowers.

Thinking about it I could use some more lavender seed.

Oh no .....

Hello my name is Earthbabe and I'm a seed-a-holic.

B&Q are selling herbs of a similar size as the ones they had in LIDL, any 3 for £5.
