  • Lemon Thyme - Citriodorus Aureus seeds

    Hi all,

Has anyone managed to find any of these for sale (non @mazon / eb@y)?

I'm struggling to find anything but plants or plugs

    Thanks

It's really slow growing stuff...you can pick up plants cheaply...@sda usually do loads of herbs for a couple of quid per pot come early spring. Ive had lemon thyme from them...it doesn't last long in my garden unfortunately, neither does sage.

Thanks Scarlet - may be easier then. I bought a lemon thyme plant from waitrose last year and it wasnt happy at all - I generally have better success with seeds than bought plants so thought I'd give it a go

Having said that - mint and basil take so long to grow from seed I think I'm going to stick with buying and re-planting those this year.

Mint and basil are a doddle from cuttings. Snip off a few inches, stick it in water and wait a few days and they grow roots!
          Easy peasy!

They do an orange one as well, might get a couple myself, if they get them back in stock
