Maybe it doesn't come true from seed and has to be propagated by cuttings or division?

Possibly. I suppose i could buy a plant and chop it up for cuttings but I may need quite a few as I want to associate it with a camomile seat, which i do have seeds for.

Chamomile for lawns and seats is the non-flowering Treneague variety and is grown from cuttings, not seed!

I struggled to find Lemon Thyme as seed too Snadge - I decided it was easier just to buy a plant!
