  • Beetle resistant rosemary

This is a long shot, but nothing ventured, nothing gained! I used to have rosemary in my garden but live where rosemary beetle was first seen in the UK and found that even with frequent removal and destruction, the bush just struggled on for years, not looking particularly attractive or healthy with a lot of damage to new growth. In the end since, the bush was quite old I took cuttings and took the bush out - but the cuttings were decimated too. I'm really missing the sprigs in cooking though, so I'd like to try again.

So... can anyone recommend cultivars of rosemary which don't attract so many/don't incur so much damage in areas which are known to get the beetles? The beetles haven't cleared off in spite of the lack of rosemary as I still see the occasional one on hyssop, sage etc.
