Default Bay leaf

I bought a pot of bay leaf before Xmas. Appears to be five plants coming out of pods.

Should I repot? When? What size pots? What soil/compost?

Thanks

How big is it? Is it pot bound? What do you want to do with it long term?

If it is still quite small and not pot bound I'd leave it be for now and reassess in a few months time.

Normally when you pot up you go up a size but if you have a number of "plants" that you wish to separate you could probably put each into a 3" pot unless they are particularly big. I'd be inclined to go for terracotta pots to get a bit more stability.

Any multi-purpose or potting on (?NO.3) compost will do they don't require ericaceous compost. Remember that when they are outside in the summer they may require more watering but won't want to be sodden and boggy.

Hope that helps.
