I found some seeds in B & Q a couple of days ago, no plants though!

MrB huffed and puffed and put eyes to heaven and told me a chamomile lawn can't be walked on....even though the seed packet said walk on or aggitate to release scent!!!

Grrrr......didn't buy the seeds......but left the house the following day alone to pick up a couple of "essentials" and hey presto.....came home with 6 packets of seeds, little propagators, lids, michorrhizal (think that is right spelling) and lots and lots of MY stuff that I wanted!

Shopping rocks!

OMG this is so my idea of fun and great stuff!!!!!!

I once made a camomile seat! When you sit on it it lets out a pleasant smell and by sitting on it you spread out the weight and don't do as much damage to the plant as walking on it!.

All I had was a low dry stone wall edge to the garden where I sowed some camomile seed on the border at the top about 2 foot X 4 foot.

Be aware it all has to be hand weeded tho!

You've got me thinking now,I'll have to have a trip to B & Q for seeds to make myself another seat at my allotment to rest my weary legs!

PS An old stone sink could be grought into play I suppose!

Are they for a lawn or just border plants?? There are different varieties!

Here's a site through Google...

http://www.camomilelawns.co.uk/

plenty more to look at though!

If it's border plants- then I grew a packet of seeds a couple of years ago directly into the border and they just self seed and thrived on neglect ( I love the sort of plants which tell you they are thirsty by wilting - and then recover fully when watered!!!)

If you don't find one; I potted one a few ruffians that had self seeded in my onion bed last weekend; so you can have one of those.
