Default Magazine holder

I am one of the people who likes to keep my magazine for future reference.
I got a book to file them in when I first started getting the mag but it is getting full.
I am wondering if anyone has any tips for keeping the magazines in good shape without having to buy a new holder for them.
Yes I know they only cost a few pounds but the allotment philosophy of not spending any more cash than necessary is rubbing off into my general way of life now.
