  • GYO june 2014 magazine copy

Missed out on this month's copy, just wondered if anyone would be willing to sell me their copy if finished with. Had a look on ebay but only one on there & thought over £9 was a bit steep

I really cannot understand why people buy this mag any more.
The price is still £4.95 which is outrageous considering the inferior booklets given away (printed on paper which quickly disintegrates). The seeds too are not worth paying an extra £1.00 for as we get the same ones over and over and my seed bank is stuffed with the same variety of beetroot, lettuce, tomatoes etc etc.
This is probably why my local Morrisons and other retailers have stopped selling due to the lack of interest in buying.

Sorry to disagree John, but I think it's very good value, and the value of the packets of seeds/ books, is a lot more than the mag, which to my mind is easy to read, and understand, but that's just my opinion. I like it. Don't think my costs me £4.95, as it's paid by DD every 6 months. It's £20.00 for 6 months, so that's about £3.50 a copy, well worth it.

I find it a lot easier to read in it's current format over the previous one
