| Has anyone got, and could recommend, a Modular Sofa? like this: Palma Modular Option 1 | Sofas by UK's leading sofa manufacturer - SofaSofa At the moment we have a horrible slippy-slidey fake leather sofa which i want to accidentally lose/damage/burn during the move. A sofa is a lot of money if you can't try it out first ~ and I wondered if modulars are as comfy and useful as they look in the picture. ![]()

| No, I don't want to buy yours ... but thanks for the offer! I just wondered if they are any good. They look so comfy to me, that I wonder why everyone hasn't got one (with a chaise on one end for lying down)

| Hi Two Sheds. We got a modular sofa from Nabru Nabru Furniture | Corner Sofas and Sofa Beds and they deliver. Ours cost £870 ish, seats 6 and includes a sofa bed and under seat storage in the short arm of the L. You basically design your own sofa and they have online software you can play with. There is a choice of fabrics, arms, seat sizes etc. Everyone loves our sofa even my folks. I can send you a photo if you like.

| Thanks Earthbabe, that's the sort of recommendation I was after. I have looked at the Nabru. I thought sofa bed sofas weren't built for everyday use, or is yours pretty strong?

| It's not bad. My folks spent 3-4 days on it when they were here without complaint. It's only so the lounge can convert to a guest room when we have peeps to stay as it's that or the blow up on Miss EB's floor. Hmmmm! Choices choices. We put ours together ourselves which took about three hours between us and some of the instructions were open to interpretation so it may be worth paying the assembly fee if they still offer the service. You don't have to have a sofa bed you can just have more under seat storage if you want. Or nothing at all, but it seems a shame to waste the space as most of us are crying out for storage.

| Good luck - it took us an absolute age to find our sofas - we must of sat on thousands before coming to a decision. We ended up buying ours (white leather 2 & 3 seater) from here: Klaussner Home Furnishings :: Home They sell "sectional" sofas - not sure if it's the same thing?
