  • Looking for RHS veg books, what would you recommend?

Im looking for a decent not to long RHS vegetable growing guide, that gives tilth size, pest protection/deterrent sizes of raised beds etc etc...

Im doing the RHS class but find it hard to take in as more often than not the subject goes elsewhere with people giving examples of what goes on in their garden which is all well and good but my mind seems to take in all their info and not the stuff I am meant to be learning about. I've got a few books on lawn, shaded area plants and pond & features which are the RHS practical guides which seem canny. They are easy and explained quite well...

    Any ideas guys?

I recently bought the RHS Allotment Handbook online from the Works for £5 with free delivery to my local store.

Not sure if I am allowed to post the link but should be easy to find on the web

I have the RHS Good Fruit and Veg Guide. Handy sized book for keeping by the bed! Gives general growing conditions and details about varieties. Useful when you need to look up cauliflower spacings late at night!
