Has anyone got one of these? Do they work? I got one for DH yesterday and he's giving it a try for his really bad hayfever.

Here's a photo of the thing in use:

The photo hasnt come out as well as I would've liked - his nose actually glows bright red when in use - DH says he thinks it is working, as his hayfever hasnt been as bad today - but come on! Would you look like Rhudolph to get rid of your hayfever?

DH did say there were "additional benefits"! I told him not to be so disgusting!

I thought that at £14.99 it wasn't bad value. The tablets DH takes are between £3 - £4 a box for 7 tablets. I'll let you know how he gets on.

I've had one for a year now... I find it tends to be more effective at night before bed.

When my hayfever is as bad as it is currently (being sick in work toilets, being sent home from work, nosebleeds every day) it doesn't touch it during the day, but seems to be more effective at night.

One of the best 'gadgets' I got was an ioniser (Lloyds Chemist). I have 2 - one for my office and one for home - they were only about £15 - very good!

I have been using haymax, as cant take the tabs at the mo and it is really helping with mine. They have an offer on at the mo too. Its expensive at around £6 for a tub but I think it will last 3 or 4 seasons as you only need a smear each time and being harder than vaseline it takes a little effort to even get a smear so its not wastefull.
