Default Black Plastic?

We're after rather a large quantity of black plastic to cover our turf piles over.

Problem is, it needs to be at least 1m wide, but we need at least 15 metres of it

Does anyone have any recommendations of where to get such a quantity from? Or any suppliers who supply this in bulk?

Cheers

OWG

We have a local shop called No Frills (I think they are part of the focus chain) and they have black plastic sheets for £3.99 16m x 4m. They also have the clear plastic at the same cost (I got some for pollytunnels.

Try your lottie shop if you have one, they may be able to source it for you. As an alternaive find a farmer who black wraps his straw bales, he might sell you a length.

Farmers store is a good place to look as they use it for silage. Failing that how about a tarpurlin, these can be picked up ( with a truss) cheap sometimes or se if you local camping shop knows of any old tents

OWG - I ended up getting some from B&Q - a thick roll of black membrane plastic for around £20ish. Was well worth it - the roll covered the whole of my little half lottie - have given some to Eternal Sunshine and am using the rest to cover stuff at back of my shed and as a base for my "patio"!
