Pretty limited release, I'd say, despite a huge article in the Telegraph mag a couple of weeks ago. This is all I could find:

when i went to Gardeners world they had a little stand - it went to the Cinema's but not many. I was told some of the big cinema's didnt take the film on which I think is a joke! I am High Wycombe and the nearest one to me is Milton Keynes! Thats a long way to watch a film

I will wait till its out on DVD.

They do have a web site : http://www.growyourownthemovie.co.uk/

Shame more cinemas are not showing it - especially with the whole Grow your own going mental in the last few years.

Oh well

The film got slated in the paper's, but may hold more interest for those that do actually grow their own.

I'll watch it on dvd

I saw this DVD today from my library £2 for 2 nights.
Grow Your Own - starring some familiar faces inc. Omid Djalili (Iranian comic from HIGNFY).
It was okay, a gentle little film, about the plotholders and how they cope with some immigrants. Several things made me smile: immaculately shabby TV gardens; melons fruiting in open ground before potatoes; 100% attendance in all meetings and everyone working their plot all at the same time!

Two Sheds
Yes, I've seen it too, hardly sets the world alight, found the extras v interesting though - showing how they created the plot and so on.

Extras? I missed that, thanks Sue. I'll have a look before I take it back, cheers.
