Got this book for Christmas. Interesting read, full of little snippets of info.
![]() 100 Vegetables and where they came from. Wiliam Woys Weaver. ISBN:1565122380 100 Vegetables Where They Came From - there's some copies available from Amazon £2.50 (plus £2.75 p&p). Of course it means I now need to buy lots of seeds I'd never previously heard of!!! ![]()

We've grown it for a couple of years - here's a seller on ebay in France. I bought my andine cornue & teton de venus (couldn't resist the silly name, but they're very tasty!) off this chap (he's in Provence) - very friendly.
tomate-ANANAS-NOIRE If you don't fancy buying any more I've got 9 seeds left and would split them with you if you like. ![]() Ah the spice question was a new one re camphor basil! ![]()

Don't have camphor basil...
but got some unique cross basil (with the help of some bees) which I crossed some 3 years ago ( italian genovese basil X Thai basil). She can take much cooler climate than Thai basil and produce very big leaves like Italian basil but still has similar Thai basil colour...![]() Got no more space left Manda, next year project... ![]() Momol
