One word of advice if you are having a photo done don't wear lipstick or you may end up looking like a clown!

Congrats Bernie. Hope you enjoy your new job
Re the mascara, I agree with the others; dying lashes is a great alternative. In case you need a mascara recommendation for future, I've found these non irritating (I've tried quite a few in my time )

Hehehe, that reminds me of the Adrian Mole book when his granny used to mix up her words and call mascara 'massacre'.

Mike Harding was doing that 25 years ago.

Default Job news update

Hi everyone!

Just thought I'd keep you posted on my job front.

Totally out of the blue I had a telephone call on Wednesday night offering me a job which I had always wanted, and the pay is excellent as well. Needless to say I said "yes please!". I start my new job at a local garage on the 31st March.

I had a sad day at Morrisons yesterday because I had to hand in my notice. Everyone, needless to say was very surprised, but also very understanding at the reasons why I was leaving.

All the staff at Morrisons, and particularly the staff in the customer cafe are a super bunch of people and have made me feel very welcome. I have no hesitation in saying if you want to work in a friendly, happy atmosphere with a great bunch of people, then go to work at Morrisons.

Bernie

Thanks Shirley - I'm glad to hear Martin is on his way home to you all. I know things are going to be fantastic for you all now that he's home. Isn't it funny how things turn out? Your OH coming home and me getting the job of my dreams? What's that saying? "Things come to those who wait"? Well, I would also add, to those who deserve it too! Love Bernie

good luck with the interviews. I also use Clinique on the odd occasions when I am going somewhere mor public than the lottie. I do however wipe it off straight away with the sensitive eye makeup remover pads on sale everywhere. If you get your lashes dyed let me know because I have considered it but been worried about reactions.
